Let's do internship abroad!

OGIP is the short name of Outgoing Global Internship Program that I have stated in the previous post. This department is to send Indonesian people abroad for doing internship (magang) in various field of work and background of study.
The process of OGIP is:
MA-RA-RE that is MATCHING, RAISE, MATCH
But before enter the MARARE stage, you have to pass the pre-raise stage first. There are the stuff you need to be done in pre-raise stage:
1.      Submit the CV
The CV has to be submitted is an international standard CV which is the maximum page is 2 pages and written in English. You can check on google by typing “International Standard CV” and you will find the link to make it. Finally, you can save and print your awesome CV, cool, isn’t it? ;)
Besides the CV, you need to submit motivation letter, endorsement letter from parent, scan of TOEIC or TOEFL certificate.
2.      Student Review Board (SRB).
It is an interview step if you pass the document selection. You will interviewed by 3 people and if you pass you can jump to the next step, that is MATCHING!!! YEAAAYYY
MATCHING
After you pass the SRB, you will redirect to me, as IR Manager to help you to find a company for your internship. You will have AIESEC account named myaisec.net which connects you to the whole AIESEC in the world. COOL
What you can do in that system?
1.      You can find your Trainee Nominee (TN) or the other name is your place to do internship
2.      You can see the requirements of different company in different country wth different field of work and skill requirements in TN Form.
3.      What you can find in TN form:
-          See the description of the company
-          See the duration
-          See the requirements (skill, background, languages, etc)
-          See the accommodation given by the company (salary and dorm, or other facilities, it would be different for each TN)
-          See the contact number of TN Manager for your host LC
4.      Do spamming to the TN manager to promote yourself that you’re capable and vert suitable with that company
5.      You will get the answer whether you’re rejected or accepted. If you’re rejected, find another TN, if you’re accepted, you will do the interview with AIESEC-er in host LC, and if you’re pass that interview, you can do interview with the company’s HRD.
6.      If you are accepted by the HRD’s interview, means that you ARE ACCEPTED IN THAT COMPANY and ready to fly to your country destination. So prepare your passport and VISA as soon as possible!
7.      You will never really “match” before you change you EP AN (Exchange Participant Acceptance Note) which is made by me and TN Manager in host LC. After I get the TN AN from the host LC, it means that YOU ARE MATCH
REALIZATION
Realization process is a process to prepare you before the flight to the country destination. These are the step to be done in realization stage:
1.      Fill the pre-realize survey
2.      Prepare the documents (VISA, passport, things to be brought stated in TN Form)
3.      Buy the flight ticket.
4.      Fly to the country destination
5.      Do the internship well
6.      Back to Malang safely
7.      Fill the post-realization survey
8.      Make internship report (internship story and video)

After you come back to Indonesia, your status is changed to be EP returnee, and please come to AIESEC events if you’re invited J

Do exchange, give impact, and add more experience through GIP!
If you’re interested with this program, just ask me!
